Brandon App

Reno-built leadership.

Brandon App co-founded Sierra Miles Group with his husband in 2015, building a Reno-rooted managed IT, cybersecurity, and compliance firm from the ground up. He serves as Partner and Founder, leads business development, and currently serves as Interim President of NCET (Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology).

Entrepreneurship is in Brandon’s DNA — his parents were small business owners (his mother ran a home daycare and his father was a contractor), and that upbringing is the through-line for his community work on the NCET board, where he focuses on creating opportunities for the next generation of Nevada entrepreneurs.

Brandon brings 10+ years of IT and technical experience, with a focus on cybersecurity consulting in Reno and AI adoption for Northern Nevada healthcare, legal, and SMB clients. Sierra Miles supports roughly 30 managed-service clients with a statewide Nevada footprint — including Reno, Carson City, and Winnemucca — across six service pillars: managed IT, AI, healthcare IT, compliance, cybersecurity, and project consulting. His working style is consultative and high-touch, including in-person office hours at larger client sites.

Brandon and the Sierra Miles team support healthcare clients across optometry, surgery centers, pediatrics, and primary care.
